DJ Brother Cleve is considered one of the pioneers of the international lounge scene. As keyboardist for SubPop/Bungalow recording artists Combustible Edison, Cleve got to meet and work with many of the greats of the old school, including Juan Garcia Esquivel, Piero Umiliani ("Mah-Na Mah-Na"), and Peter Thomas. A life long record collector, he began a series of parties with a lounge theme in the mid-90's, mixing classic recordings of the 50's-70's into a flow with contemporary dance music based in a similar vein. As a DJ, he has worked with a variety of artists (Pizzacato Five, Fantastic Plastic Machine, Nicola Conte, Bebel Gilberto, St. Germain, Arling & Cameron among them) in a host of cities (such as New York, London, Moscow, Rome, San Francisco).

Besides lounge/Now Sound, Cleve specializes in house music (afro/latin/samba/tribal varieties), nujazz, disco/funk and latin/bossa. He's also scored music for clients such as HBO/Cinemax, Discovery Channel, Universal Studios, Cartoon Network, and Hormel Foods. You can hear him on the current releases "EZ Lounge" (compilation; Media Records, IT), Ursula 1000's "Kinda Kinky" (Eighteenth St. Lounge, USA), The Transistors "Atelier" (Right Tempo, IT) and the forthcoming Don Tiki remix album (Taboo Records).

Deep Boston's head honcho Enrique Florendo has a passion for playing deep, melodic, House Music with Latin and Afro influences. Yet, Enrique's passion does not begin and end with the turntables—he is also an event planner, designer, and music producer. Enrique has combined these skills to celebrate his love of House Music through the following events: Galleria (a fusion of art gallery in a club setting that promoted local art and local deejays), In+eract (a large scale art party that aims to explore art with all 5 senses), Artweek (a week dedicated to promoting local art in restaurants) and the upcoming Village Underground (a fusion of live instruments and deejay sets). Also, Enrique has co-produced his first track with Eric Richmond entitled "Splendor." Included is a special remix from Rocco (Buzzin'Fly) that is due to be released under Animus Rhythm.
